Spencer Davis Group과 Ian Gillan Band의 기타리스트였던 Ray Fenwick과 Cozy Powell을 중심으로 탄생한 Forcefield는 1987년 첫 앨범을 발표하는데 Fenwick이 작곡한 몇 곡들과 커버곡들로 이루어져있다.
Kinks,Del Shanon 곡들은 물론이고 앨범의 대미를 장식하는 곡마저도 Deep Purple 곡으로 장식함으로써 일회성 프로젝트 그룹으로 끝나지 않을까 생각되던 앨범이다
